(Genesis 22: 1 – 18)
We must remind ourselves that God makes all things beautiful in His own time; not in our own time but in His time. Every word of promise He has given, He is able to fulfill. He cannot lie about His promises. He will do whatever He needs to do in order to fulfill His word concerning you. The Bible says that God can kill and He can make alive. He sets up kings and He can remove and replace any king or anyone He so desires, just because of you. Yes you may not be where God wants you to be right now, you may not have the kind of employment you desire from God or you may even be unemployed altogether but you must remember that these are the days of little beginnings. God is still working behind the scenes to make sure that He keeps His words concerning you. He says in Jeremiah 29: 11 that “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”. God has destined you for greatness and He will see to it that you become great. His words say that weeping may endure for a night but joy shall come in the morning. He also says Psalm 34: 19 that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Child of God be rest assured that God will deliver you out of all your afflictions. He has brought you this far and He will not abandon you. He delivered Joseph from the pit and from the prison. He delivered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from the fiery burning furnace. He also delivered Daniel from the den of lions. He will deliver you because He is not a respecter of persons. What he has done for others, He will do for you. Hope in God, cast your cares on Him, remember His faithfulness and His unfailing love. He will surely come through for you. Do not allow the devil to sow the seed of fear into you. You are destined for greatness and you shall be great. God honors His word above His name and He will make sure that you reach your goal. He will make sure that you fulfill destiny. Whenever the enemy comes to sow the seed of fear, always remember what God has done for you in the past and that He can even do much more in the future. He can never, never lie, and He can never, never fail because He is the Covenant – Keeping God.
