Who We Are
Jesus House Eastern Shore is a mission of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). The Church was planted in 2005 and is located in the city of Salisbury on the Eastern Shore of the State of Maryland. To date, it’s the only parish of the across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, serving nine counties. The Church has a burden to reach people of diverse background with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our passion is to continually abound in the love of God and serve one another as Jesus commands. Through its outreach to young people, Jesus House Eastern Shore is preparing and mentoring people who will impact their world for Christ. The Church is also involved in partnership with other ministries on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and beyond.
Our Roots & Foundation
RCCG has a vision to spread the Word of God to the ends of the earth. It is a Bible believing church, where teachings and a missionary approach emphasize the proper conduct and moral behavior of people. The church has an appeal to all types of people worldwide, with a determination to teach people in their various geographical areas, stages of secular life and levels of spiritual development.
The General Overseer of the church is Pastor E.A. Adeboye. The church was founded in 1952 and since then, the church has grown to over 5,000 parishes worldwide with a total congregational strength of over one million people. Presently, there are established missions in many African countries, as well as Europe, Asia, the United States, the Caribbean, Canada, South America and Australia. RCCG has also been involved in establishing schools, rehabilitation centers, child care and support centers.
It is on this foundation that Jesus House Eastern Shore is building. The Church is presently located on 6130 Hobbs Road Salisbury Maryland and is co-pastored by Pastors Bolaji and Feyi Okulate.
Our Mission
As received by the General Overseer (G.O.), Pastor E. A. Adeboye, and communicated to the Headquarters leaders, our vision and mission statement shall remain intact, with a qualifying addendum in view of the peculiarity of the demography in the North American region. They are as follows:
- To make heaven.
- To take as many people with us.
- To have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations.
- To accomplish No. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyle.
- To accomplish No. 2 and 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries.
We will pursue these objectives until every Nation in the world is reached for the Lord Jesus Christ.
