Introduction: In The beginning God created all things both living and non-living. He created man in His own image. He created man for companionship. He created man man to be fruitful and to dominate the earth but man fell because of sin. In spite of man's sin God made another way to restore the relationship. That is why Jesus came. God came to us because of who He is, not because of who we are. He revealed Himself to us as the God of flesh in diverse ways.

(Gen. 1: 1 – 28)

1. He is love. Jer. 31:3 says “The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee”
2. He is the Good Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want”
3. He is the Provider.. Phil. 4:19 says “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”.
4. He is the Healer. Exodus 15:26 says “And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee”.
5. He is our Comforter. Matthew 11:28-29 say “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light”
6. He is our Refuge and Strength. Psalm 46:1 says “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”.
7. He is the Ever Present God. Hebrews 13:5 – 6 says “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me”.
8. He is the Counselor. Isaiah 9:6 says He is also the Prince of Peace “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”.
10. He is our Shield, the Glory and the Lifter up of our Head: Psalm 3:1-3 say “Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head”.
11. He is our Righteousness (II Corinthians 5:20)
12. He is the Savior (John 3:16)
He is coming back again to the world to judge all men. We must be ready for Him whenever He comes either in the morning or afternoon or night.five virgins were ready for Him and five were not. Those who prepared made it to eternal life and the unprepared missed their reward. You can be ready today by opening your heart to Him. He wants to save you. He is knocking at the door of your heart. Why not open it to Him today.
