The Power Of Transformation

Introduction: Transformation is a thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance. The bible made us understand that the Spirit of God moved over the face of the water and God said let there be light and there was light. God spoke into the earth, what he expects from it. It simply means that God is expecting us to live according to His master plan. Many a time we find ourselves in situations and condition that do not define God’s Plan for our lives.

(Gen. 1: 1 – 3)

So what do we do then? We need to rely on a God who always has the best in store for us. Certain things in life cannot be solved by Power of Might but only by the Spirit of God, Zech. 4:6. God want to transform your weakness to strength. God want to use the castaway and make them the Masterpiece. I therefore present to you a God who has the power of transformation.

Why Must I be transformed? A. God commands it: The simple answer to this question is to say that God commanded it. Transformation is needed in our ever day life. Romans 12:2,”And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God”

B. You need to be the best of you: The challenges, trials, weakness, and temptation you go through in life needed to be abated so you can begin to enjoy the abundant life God has promised you. So you need a new mind for the new thing that God want to do. C. It makes you enjoy new things .Isaiah 43:18:

EXAMPLES OF Transformation in the Bible

1. Naaman: He enjoyed the power of transformation after God visited him through the prophet Elisha. Even though he was not and Israelite, the God of Israel visited him and showed mercy upon him.

2, Dead Lazarus came back to life: This story shows that God is never too late He is always on time. He overcome death with Lazarus he will overcome every dead situation in your life. John 10:43

3. Transformed Bitterness to sweet: There are times everything look pleasant but an issue might be keeping us down just like the bitter water in Israel that God transformed to sweet. 2 kings 2:22 ”So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spoke”

4. Sickness to Health: Luke 8:43:  “And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any.  Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. There was a woman who struggle with the issue of blood for twelve years but when she believed in Jesus, She was so transformed to the extent that she got healed.

How to Trigger Transformation: Through Prayer, the Word of God and faith.
Conclusion: God is interested in your life and want you to know that he will wipe away every tear from your eyes. He wants to make you a glorious entity and want you to know that he will transform your life form shame and reproach. God made you in his likeness and after his image, Gen 1:26. He want to transform your shame to glory, your pain to gain, your mockery to praise, your sadness to laughter. God want you to know that he is your best friend ever and He will transform you.
