Introduction: Rehoboth means the Lord has made room for us. Rehoboth is a place of enlargement. It can also mean the Promised Land or Place of comfort. It is a place is where things are settled, where our minds are at peace. Num.23:23 says there is no enchantment against Jacob; at Rehoboth, nobody will be able to question or challenge the doing of the Lord in our lives. There is a place that the Lord has prepared for us. When we get to our Rehoboth, every dream that God has given to us will surely come pass regardless of how we may feel right now.

( Gen. 26: 1 – 24)

Every promise of God will surely come to pass because He has already made room for us to attain the Rehoboth. God prepared a place for Esther in the palace of the king ever before she got there. Good will make men to prepare a place for us in our Rehoboth.

Challenges on the road to Rehoboth: There will be challenges on our way to Rehoboth. We must however keep our hopes high because we are overcomers. Jesus tells us in John 16:33 that in this world we will have tribulations but we should be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. Habakkuk 2:4 says the vision is for an appointed time. God keeps His promises and we need to hold on to our faith in God steadfastly. There will be opposition, pain and persecution but God will surely make a way for us. We need to soak ourselves in God’s word because it comforts us. We need to continue digging because in the end, your miracle will surely come to pass. God has prepared somewhere for all of us. Isaac never gave up digging for water until he got to Rehoboth.

In your time of digging keep sowing because Isaac sowed in the land of famine and received a hundred fold return as he sowed. Those who sow in tears will reap in joy. We should not be tired of sowing. Nobody can shut a door when God has opened it. Esther was hastily brought into the presence of the king when God opened a door for her. David was hastily brought into the presence of Pharaoh when his time of fulfillment came. Hannah went to Shiloh year by year but when God was ready for her, she received her miracle. Ruth went out into the field to glean the leftovers but she got into abundance and overflow through Boaz her kinsman redeemer.  God had already the kinsman redeemer in Boaz ever before Ruth got to Bethlehem. Keep digging until you get to your Rehoboth. Yes there may be challenges on the way, the Lord will break every barrier and stumbling block. God will subdue nations before us according to Isaiah 45:1-3. God will break protocols in order for His children to experience their Rehoboth. He will give the treasures of darkness and the hidden riches of secret places to His children who believe in Him

A Room for us in Heaven: Apart from God bringing into earthly Rehoboth, God has also made a room for us in heaven. We must continue to dig until we get there. Jn. 14: 1-4.
