Lessons On Discipleship

Introduction: We have been focusing on how we can successfully live our lives for God. We have said before that living for God requires us to surrender our will to His will and allowing Him to be the center pole of our lives. It means allowing Him to be the Captain of our ship and the pilot of our plane. This is what discipleship is about. A disciple is a follower of a leader, teacher or master. We are disciples of Jesus Christ. Discipleship comes from the word discipline, so a disciple should have the discipline of the master. One of the definitions of discipline is “bring under control by training in obedience”.

Living For God (II)

Introduction: Without any doubt, the greatest thing in all of life is to live our lives for God. The Bible says “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil”. (Ecclesiastes 12: 13 – 14 NKJV). How then can we live our lives for God? The following steps can help us to accomplish this.

For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil”. (Ecclesiastes 12: 13 – 14 NKJV).
